Manchester United agree Morgan Schneiderlin deal

Morgan Schneiderlin is set to be part of an £80m transfer package on Manchester United’s flight out to America for the pre-season tour with the midfielder becoming Louis van Gaal’s fourth signing of the summer.
The Southampton player has had a medical at United’s Carrington training HQ and, while a fee and length of contract are yet to be announced, the French midfielder is United’s latest capture.
The expensive new cargo on the flight to Seattle on Monday will see 25-year-old Schneiderlin join Bastian Schweinsteiger, Matteo Darmian and Memphis Depay in the USA in a new look Reds squad.
Executive vice chairman Ed Woodward has been busy in the last few days and has successfully landed four players from Van Gaal’s wish list.

Schneiderlin has excelled against United in the past
Dutch winger Memphis Depay was officially unveiled at Old Trafford on Friday after his move from PSV Eindhoven was signed and sealed in May.
On Saturday United confirmed that they had agreed a deal with Bayern Munich for German World Cup winner Bastian Schweinsteiger and the 30-year-old midfielder is also expected to join his new colleagues on the plane to the States.
Italian right back Matteo Darmian is also set to join the tour after the Reds announced on Saturday that the 25-year-old Torino player had agreed a four-year contract.
The quartet of newcomers adds up to a transfer blitz so far this summer of around £80m and will avoid the late rush of new faces that hampered Van Gaal’s start last August.
