Deadpool Trailer Red Band Version Officially Released Online

The future is here, and it's glorious.

20th Century Fox has debuted the first trailer from Deadpool, the upcoming, R-rated, blood-drenched, fourth-wall-breaking superhero comedy from star Ryan Reynolds and the producers of the X-Men franchise.

Veteran talk show host and Comic-Con attendee Conan O'Brien debuted the red band version of the trailer tonight on his TBS show Conan.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
