skateboarding bulldog breaks world record
A British Bulldog named Otto is
proving that Guinness World Records aren’t just for humans.
The 3-year-old dog literally
skated his way into the record books by passing through the legs of 30 people
on a skateboard in Lima, Peru.
Otto's owners Robert Rickards
Ugarte and Luciana Viale Paez beamed with joy when presented with a certificate
by a Guinness World Records official, earlier this week.
"Well it all started like
a game, I love taking pictures, of Otto and his fans together, and one time he
was skating and coming very fast towards me and in order to avoid being hit by
him, I opened my legs, and he went through, and that's how the human tunnel
started," Otto's owner Luciana Viale Paez said.
She added that the extreme K-9
athlete also enjoys surfing and skimboarding.
The stunt was part of Guinness
World Record Day on Thursday, November 12.
It comes just two weeks after
one of YouTube’s biggest stars and some say the original skateboarding dog,
Tillman, sadly passed away
