IIT graduate puts himself on Flipkart’s website to bag job in company
Mittal utilised Flipkart’s model to market himself, just like all the other products that are listed on their website.
Mumbai: In a bizarre incident, a graduate from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, has “put himself up for sale” on Flipkart’s website to bag a job in the e-commerce giant’s company.
Aakash Neeraj Mittal, a native of Moradabad, has gone a step further and done the unthinkable. He has put up his resume on Flipkart and listed himself on their website. Yes! He literally tried to “sell himself” on the e-commerce giant’s platform.
A post on his Facebook timeline said: "When you are a 6-pointer and competing with best of the best minds of the country, you know how hard it is to land a job. You start doing some crazy and random stuff to stand out from the crowd. This is my resume for Flipkart's APM Profile.”
Mittal utilised Flipkart’s model to market himself, just like all the other products that are listed on their website. He set his price at Rs 27, 60,200 lakhs, which is quite a lot of money, but a common package for any IITian. He has even got five star ratings on his resume.
Well, this is not the first time that Mittal got a five star review on Flipkart, as he was also popular on the e-commerce portal for his novel “It wasn’t her fault”.
Although Mittal did not get any interview call, he hoped that his act would bring a “smile on someone’s face.” We are sure it did!
