At least 10 killed as BSF plane crashes in Dwarka, Delhi

Plane crash in Dwarka, Delhi: A Ranchi-bound BSF Superking aircraft carrying technicians crashed here, BSF sources said. Immediately thereafter, airport authorities announced that the plane crashed against a village wall in Delhi’s Dwarka suburb and that 4 people were confirmed dead.

There were 10 people on-board and some reports are indicating that all are reported killed. All of them had been pulled out of the wreckage.

The plane crashed near a public road and the passersby collected to lend a hand even as danger of an explosion due to spilled fuel was present.

The plane crashed in clear weather as the sun was shining and there was barely any mist on the ground that could have hampered eyesight.

The plane was taking off for Ranchi and developed a glitch immediately after being airborne.

No one was injured on the ground even though Dwarka is a crowded middle-class suburb dotted with villages.
