TOP 6 “ROMANTIC” PLACES IN DELHI

Being born and brought up in Delhi, one just loves some of the amazingly “romantic” places here. Going to Lodhi gardens and spotting those couples doing weird stuff to each other is one of those horrible childhood memories, and causing troubles for the same couple another memory but a funny one!

Here’s a list of seven such places where our “love birds” can go and have some fun. After all, for Delhiites, doing things publically is another level of show-off, isn’t it?

1. Deer Park:
   Big size is just a very important feature. Isn’t it?
   Yes, deer park is very beautiful and is also a heaven for lovers. But the main reason couples prefer that place is because it’s so huge that you could find innumerable spots to spend time with your partner without being seen.
   RISK FACTOR: Medium. If you’re not crossing the arbitrary level set by our society, you’re safe! Or else, God save you from the tsk tsk and taunts and blah blah!
   
   
2. Garden of Five Senses: Well, who cares what you do in a place with such an apt name?
   This park has amazing spots for couples, a massive parking lotand natural beauty (as if you’ll care for them!). This is THE place to go to satisfy your lusts.
   
   RISK FACTOR: Low. There’s a reason why it’s famous, after all!
   
   
3. Indraprastha Park: “It is huge!”
   Damn right, spread on an area of about 85 acres, it is an amazing place to visit with your better half. What can one say about the scenic beauty?
   But you gotta work hard here to find some “nice” places.
   
   RISK FACTOR: High. This place is very crowded most of the time, so beware!
   
   
4. Humayun’s Tomb: Delhi is full of historical places, but no Delhiite visits these places for that reason. There’s only one reason why Delhiites like going to such places, and so should you, in the name of PDA after all. Mornings are a great time.
   
   RISK FACTOR: Medium, there are guards and sometimes even the beloved “mama”. Have fun but precautions are a must.
   
   
5. Lodhi Garden: You go to Lodhi garden for two reasons, either to have fun or to trouble the ones who are having a great time. Latter is only true when your school decides to take you to a picnic over there. Isn’t it?
   It is one of the best places to make out, and to do a lot of other stuff.
   
   RISK FACTOR: I’ll say low. After all, everytime you go there, couples are expressing love openly. If there was any risk, why would delhiites take that? I mean, we are wild and adventurous but not stupid.
   
   
6. Qutub Minar ke peeche wala Park: So I was discussing these places with my friends, and somebody suggested me this, saying, “Arre, that place is damn safe. And awesome to do the dirty stuff. It’s the best place to take your girlfriend too, if you know what I mean.” So let’s assume my friend is right and try this place out.
   
   RISK FACTOR: If we believe my friend, the risk is low. He wouldn’t take unnecessary risk with the love of his life.

I may sound like one of those aunties who feel horrible seeing your affection and your physical love in public places, but that’s only because I don’t get to use these places much.
